Ricardo Tamés was born in Mexico City. He studied journalism at the University of Veracruz. After working for various editorials, in 2006 Ricardo carries out his first formal exhibition with the photographer Alberto Contreras as curator. From 2005 to 2007 he published essays in the photographic supplement Medio Oculto (Hidden Media), directed by Armando Lemus. Ricardo has attended workshops coordinated by Francisco Mata, Marco Antonio Cruz and Fernando Montiel Klint. In 2011 his work was selected in the Michael H. Kellicutt International Photo Show.
